Day One
After being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2023 kicked off in Dundee with a star-studded line up over three days at Camperdown Park.
The first major music festival of the season started on Friday with a special dance line-up for the party goers of Dundee, but it was the Saturday and Sunday session that brought 70,000 music lovers out in force.
First up on the Saturday was The Jonas Brothers, followed by ArrDee, Jess Glynne, Joel Corry, Mimi Webb, Tom Grennan and the evening finished off on the main stage with The 1975.
On the Future Sound Stage, The Snuts, Flo, Pale Waves, Headie One, Romy, Rudimental, Self Esteem played to packed festival goers as they enjoyed the music and sunshine at Camperdown.
